Outside Sales Representative – norfolk, Nebraska

Our location in Norfolk, Nebraska has an immediate opening for an Outside Sales Representative.

Summary:
We are seeking a motivated, self-starting, Industrial Sales Professional. The perfect candidate will be a relationship builder with the technical capabilities to sell into the Industrial Market. If you are organized and like to work independently, we are looking for you.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Build relationships and trust with our customers.

  • Travel assigned territory to call on existing and prospective customers.

  • Analyzes customer’s electrical needs and recommends equipment required.

  • Works independently under the guidance of sales management.

  • Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog and emphasizes salable features.

  • Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.

  • Enter new customer data and other sales data into our CRM.

  • Develop and maintain customer relationships with purchasing, engineering, maintenance and management.

  • Investigates and resolves customer problems.

  • Work with Manufacturers/Reps to help position 3E as a preferred distributor.

Education and/or Experience:
  • Extensive experience in industrial electrical distribution business. College degree or equivalent work experience a plus but not required. NAED EPEC a plus. Previous outside sales experience a plus also.

  • Must possess excellent communication skills.

  • A valid drivers license and proof of insurance is required.
