Headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa, 3E now has fifteen electrical distribution centers throughout Iowa and Nebraska plus a manufacturing/electrical apparatus repair division in Des Moines, Iowa.  We currently have more than 350 employees whose training and dedication have helped bring 3E to the forefront in the industry. We are excited to be expanding our Columbus, Nebraska location.

3E’s primary customers include electrical contractors, industrial plants, commercial organizations and utility companies. Our inventory is stocked with the products of leading manufacturers in the electrical industry including Square D, Siemens, Lithonia Lighting, Ferraz Shawmut, Cooper Lighting, Pass & Seymour/Legrand and many more.

3E's Electrical Distribution division has become a leader in the electrical industry by serving electrical contractors, commercial and industrial companies and government agencies throughout Iowa, Nebraska and western Illinois. 3E's specialized departments are staffed with experienced personnel trained to assist our customers.

We are expanding our Columbus sales staff and have an immediate opening for Inside Sales.

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: ·        Enter customer orders into the data base,
·        Contact company suppliers for price, delivery, and technical product information as needed,
·        Follow up on orders to ensure delivery in agreed upon time frame,
·        Act in a support role for Outside Sales force,
·        Act as an interface with customer and supplier in the resolution of questions and concerns regarding product or service,
·        Issue sales documents and other contract documents to other functions for the completion of a contract,
·        Helping at the counter during peak times, lunch hours and vacations,
·        Maintain a positive attitude and an organized work environment.

Education and/or Experience required:

·        High school diploma or equivalent,
·        Basic mathematic skills,
·        Good organizational and communication skills,
·        The ability to operate and understand basic Microsoft programs such as Excel & Word,
·        Must have good understanding of electrical and industrial material.
·        Must commit to completing EPEC training in 8 months.  (First two modules within first 3 months)
·        For an inside sales position a minimum 2 years electrical sales experience is necessary. 

A college degree a plus.
